Good Neighbours and How to Take Advantage of Our Referral Program
They say, “You can pick your friends, but you can’t pick your neighbours”. However, what if we told you that you can have your cake and eat it too! Our referral program let’s you choose your neighbours, and rewards you for it.
Good Neighbours are Important
Did you know that good neighbours can increase the value of your home? It’s true! Several studies have indicated that potential buyers are looking for communities with low crime, tree-lined streets, and good neighbours. When purchasing a new home, you aren’t only buying a house, you are buying into a lifestyle. The higher the demand for a particular neighbourhood, the more the value of your property will increase. Research shows that living near homes with attractive landscaping can increase your property value as much as 11%. At Devonleigh Homes we pride ourself on our standard landscape packages, tree-lined streets and outstanding curb appeal to maintain your home's value, over time.
Bad Neighbours Can Affect Property Value
Not only can a bad neighbour be intolerable to live nearby, but they can also have a negative effect on the value of your home. Annoying pets, unpleasant odours, unkempt yards, exteriors in need of repairs, and dangerous trees, are all factors that come into play when calculating the market value of your home. Bad neighbours can decrease your property value by as much as 10%.
